Realizing this critical need, the Textile Today Innovation Hub is thriving to embed deep structural innovation in the textile and apparel industry to help the sector and its businesses craft successful pathways to transformation. The Innovation Black Belt track creates elite professionals who go through extensive technical training alongside real hands-on problem-solving experience inside specific operational areas of the Textile & Apparel Industry.

The pathway to achieving the Black Belt status engages participants with 128 hours of extensive training paired with 128 hours of rigorous factory-floor industry problem-solving experience. Projects target active bottleneck problem statements existing within the current production landscape.

Each Black Belt participant executes their project within a dedicated Innovation Team, which coordinates 1 Industry Expert, 1 Factory Industry Supervisor, 1 Academic Supervisor, and the participant. An Industry Expert closely guides the participant to accomplish targeted operations analysis inside a factory space assigned by Textile Today Training. TTT has deployed a complete strategy for systematic project management, holistically directing both the participant and the project through a strict, data-driven problem-solving approach.
